The Murphy name has been connected with the moving and storage industry for over 100 years and our company is now being proudly run by the fourth generation. Years of pride in workmanship and experience have been passed from generation to generation. The first truck to move a family coast to coast from New York to California, “Kisco to Frisco”, was a member of the Murphy family. A lot has changed since the first generation started the business with a horse and cart, and the family has seen many changes and kept up with the technology that comes along with each new generation.
We are so grateful to Murphy Moving for a flawless move. We have used Murphy three other times, and we will happily use them again for any future moves. Len and Lisa were super helpful on the front end in providing a quote, scheduling the move, giving us suggestions, and answering all of our questions. They checked in throughout the process to make sure all was going well. Our movers, Marcelo and Fillipe, were amazing. They encountered more than a few challenges with multiple stairs, and lots of tight turns in narrow hallways. Their attitudes were very pleasant throughout and all of our belongings were handled with much care. They did a great job!

We were very fortunate to find Murphy Moving and Storage for our complicated relocation that also required storage. Geraldine, Kyla and Beto and his team of movers were all very personable and professional. They maintained excellent communication with us throughout our moving process. They made a very stressful situation pleasant and enjoyable. We felt so comfortable with Geraldine when she visited our home for the inventory and offered suggestions and encouragement for preparing to move. Kyla was in frequent communication and so patient with editing my changing inventory and arranging a schedule for pick up. Beto and his team of movers were friendly while remaining focused on their individual tasks and their teamwork was remarkable. They wrapped each piece of furniture so well and treated each piece of furniture and every carton as if it were a precious jewel, not to mention how well they arranged the pieces for safe transportation in the moving van. We feel Murphy Moving and Storage is a trustworthy company. We felt and continue to feel confident in their care of us and our 39 years of accumulated and valued possessions. Best movers! Moved me 7/8/22. Lisa was fantastic, communication top notch, this company has a great team! My movers were with Murphy Moving out of S. Windsor Ct moved me in state, these two guys were awesome x10 got to work right away, no damage anywhere, really did more than they should have. Really, really good. I would not hesitate to call and use them again. In fact, I plan to for my next move. Just an awesome company to work with. No regrets, best choice I made. These guys are top notch! Use them!
