Warde sits at 755 Melville Avenue and ranks 28th among public high schools in Connecticut. Ludlowe, on Unquowa Road, ranks 19th in Connecticut and edges Warde slightly on both state ranking and AP participation, with 56 percent of students enrolled in AP courses. Minority enrollment sits at 23 percent, with 13 percent of students considered economically disadvantaged.

Sacred Heart University on Park Avenue is the second-largest Catholic university in New England, with approximately 6,000 students enrolled across four colleges: Arts and Sciences, Education and Health Professions, University College, and the AACSB-accredited John F. Welch College of Business. The university offers more than 40 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, operates satellite locations internationally, and fields 31 Division I athletic teams. Its community service programming is one of the more active in the region.

We were very fortunate to find Murphy Moving and Storage for our complicated relocation that also required storage. Geraldine, Kyla and Beto and his team of movers were all very personable and professional. They maintained excellent communication with us throughout our moving process. They made a very stressful situation pleasant and enjoyable. Kyla was in frequent communication and so patient with editing my changing inventory and arranging a schedule for pick up. They wrapped each piece of furniture so well and treated each piece of furniture and every carton as if it were a precious jewel, not to mention how well they arranged the pieces for safe transportation in the moving van.
